No time to think much so im just gna post what I wrote on my brown sheet!

First day:

OBS was super fun. On the first day, we did stuff that concerned us learning to trust our teammates such as the trust fall. I learnt that if you’re afraid of doing something, you cannot hesitate, if you do, you will be more afraid than ever. I learnt that when you’re in a shortage of something you will learn to appreciate the most basic of your necessities such as water and taking a bath. I cooked dinner with my tentmates (Kelly, Rena, MinHui!) and had a great sense of accomplishment when we enjoyed a scrumptious meal (curry chicken noodles and braised peanuts/tuna!) but most of all I leant that I needed to learn how to pack light ! O: because it reminded me and rena of amazing race participants because of our giant haversacks!

Last day:

Kayaking was one of my most memorable experiences in the camp, maybe mostly because we kayaked so much. We learnt to capsize and rescue ourselves in the middle of the ocean. Capsizing on purpose seemed like a horror at first but I managed it in the end. Being the navigator/SeaEx leader/port side as well as day one I/C allowed me to see my leadership potential which I never realized I had before. It was difficult in a way to control and plan everything by ourselves (me, ShiHui, HuiYee, Rebecca, SeaExleaders forever!<33)>.<) the dinner which consisted of rice and mix and match dishes was simple delicious. I remembered that we the tentmates sneaked up to the poolhouse to take hot water for milo and ended up sneaking drinks from the syrup container in a UNGLAM way (actionpacked! ;D) looking back on climbing the log thing was also very satisfactory as me and minhui(kayaking partners!! :D) reached the very top! Teamwork was of course important although we were very unglam in the process.

All in all, we couldn’t have done this whole course without our very precious and wonderful instructor, ALEX!!

He was just great and gave us lots of encouragement when we needed it during the whole camp. So many things to thank him for but yeah it would be cumbersome to write them all down

But alex! We’re gna miss you!

(pray hard that CSM comes soon!)

of course that’s not all to OBS, kayaking to sembawang from pulau ubin nearly killed(6hours there and 6 hours back!) total at least 28 km!

Lighting mosquito coil works!

And many many other things! But too many! Shall end here!
