ohyeah forgot to post the poem i wrote for LA hw
apparently the theme is supposed to be childhood and loneliness
so see if you can pick out the themes!
entitled : Lost childhood

I remember my first lollipop
Oh it was fantastic
Colours of the rainbow
I licked it and savoured its sweet taste.
Such a wonderful childhood.

I remember my first bike
Sleek, shiny red.
Do you remember mom?
You gave it to me on my fifth birthday
And I finally mastered it on my sixth.
Such a wonderful childhood.

I remember my first kiss
Behind the garden shed
With little Bobby Blue.
Oh how I loved him so.
Such a wonderful childhood.

But then I grew up
Mommy what happened to you?
Where did you go?
You left me all too fast
And I was left alone.

The bike in the bike shed turned rusty
The garden shed was no more
And my lolli
My lollipop
Was forever lost in the abyss of lost child like innocence.

Now its just me and the telly
Staring and staring
Never ending game shows
With no one at home

Now I’m twenty one
But there’s no one here to give me a bike
No one to call my name and wish me a happy birthday
And as I blow out the final candles on the solitary cake
I extinguished the very last of my childhood.

Such a wonderful childhood…
